Operating in a GMP-certified facility, they produce high-quality therapeutic goods for both local and international markets. Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking a trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter to join their engineering team on a full-time, day-shift basis. About the Role This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong preventative and corrective maintenance experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in maintaining production uptime by ensuring the reliability and performance of critical equipment. Key Responsibilities Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on coating, blending, and dispensing machinery. Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and breakdowns in a timely manner. Assist with the installation, commissioning, and optimisation of new equipment. Collaborate with production and quality teams to coordinate maintenance activities. Maintain accurate maintenance records in accordance with GMP and WHS requirements. Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on equipment reliability and performance. Skills and Experience Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or a related discipline. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a maintenance role within a pharmaceutical, food, or similar regulated environment. Demonstrated experience with rotating equipment, conveyors, mixers, and automated systems. Solid understanding of cGMP, WHS, and preventative maintenance practices. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation. Strong communication and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
